Rebecca Mimi Jane Montgomery Harrison

Becky lived a life filled with love and family. She grew up in Reidsville with her two sisters and three brothers. In 1955, she met Robert Harrison and the two married four years later. They moved to Charlotte in 1960 where they raised three beautiful children.

Becky graduated from King’s Business College and worked for almost 30 years as an administrative assistant. Following her retirement, she enjoyed gardening, reading books, volunteering on Tuesdays at the Matthews HELP Center and her favorite activity of all—being “Mimi” to her four grandchildren.

Although her time on Earth has ended, Becky will live on in the hearts and memories of the many who loved her.

She is survived by her husband, Robert, her children, Ed Harrison of Stevensville M.T., Pam Francisco of Whispering Pines, N.C. and Mark Harrison of Matthews, and her grandchildren, Alexandra Francisco Tobin, Mackenzie Francisco, Quinn Harrison and Walker Harrison.

A visitation will be held for friends and family at Forest Lawn West Funeral Home on Tuesday, Aug. 1 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Matthews HELP Center—P.O. Box 91, Matthews, N.C., 28106.
