A graduate of Harding High School, class of '76, he was the owner and operator of RG Welding Service.
In his youth, Rickey enjoyed baseball, basketball and speed skating where he won numerous medals.
Survivors include his mother, Jean Y. Green; son Eric (Heather) Green; grandchildren, Jermeal, Eric Jr., Evan, Delores, Phoenix and Emma Green; brother, Michael Eugene Green.
Rickey was preceded in death by his father, Raymond E. Green; sons, Jeremy and Cogan Green; brother, Johnny Green.
