

Riddick is survived by his children: Dennis Craven and his wife Sharman of Wilmington, NC; Dale Murray and her husband CJ of Pawleys Island, SC; Dwayne Craven of Mint Hill, NC; Cindy Tuttle and her husband Robert of Pawleys Island, SC; Melony Campbell and her husband Lamar of Huntersville, NC; and Todd Craven of Mint Hill, NC. He also leaves behind 13 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Riddick served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War and was stationed on the USS Worcester. He had a successful career as a founder and president of Polar Palace Ice Skating Rink, the first of its kind in Charlotte. He was instrumental in establishing the Charlotte Hockey Association. Additionally, Riddick owned Central Systems Heating and Air Conditioning and worked as a custom home builder.
As a loving and caring father, Riddick always led by example and was dedicated to his family. He was known for his hard work and his genuine concern for others.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 beginning at 1pm. Funeral Service will begin at 2pm. Interment will take place at Sharon Memorial Park.
