Robert married the love of his life, Daisy, and together they built a beautiful family. He was a proud and devoted father to their five children—Mike, Donna, Roger, Doug, and Brenda. His joy only grew when he became a grandfather to eight beloved grandchildren. Robert loved being a family man; he took an active role in his children’s lives and even served as a Scout Master in the Boy Scouts, guiding young people with the same steady values that shaped his own life.
A dedicated member of Mercy Baptist Church in Indian Trail, North Carolina, Robert lived his faith daily. He was an avid writer, a passionate gardener, and a talented artist who loved to draw. His deep appreciation for history informed his lifelong commitment to standing up for the values he cherished. He also enjoyed studying genealogy and was always mindful of environmental stewardship.
Robert will be remembered for his steadfast devotion to family, his enduring patriotism, and the countless memories he created with those he loved. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his children, grandchildren, and all who were blessed to know him.
