

Bob was preceded in death by his loving parents, Christopher R. Nordman and Dorothy E. Nordman, and his first wife, Elena C. Ugarte Nordman, as well as his sister, Ruth A. Nordman Creacy, and his brother-in-law, Fred S. Creacy.
Bob is survived by his loving wife Louise Pence Nordman, his son, Dr. Thomas R. Nordman, and daughter-in-law, Jackie Perry Nordman; his daughter, Dr. Julie P. Nordman Navarro, and son-in-law, Richard Navarro, grandchildren Victoria E. Nordman, Ryan R. Nordman and his wife, Kristie Bishop Nordman, and Kevin T. Nordman; his stepdaughter, Laura Melton Ross, and her daughter, Mina Ross, and stepson, Jim Melton.
Raised in St. Louis, Bob earned the prestigious honor of becoming an Eagle Scout. He graduated from Kirkwood High School in 1950 and pursued higher education at Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, where he was a proud member of the Sig Tau fraternity. He proudly served in the US Army from 1953 to 1961, achieving the rank of Sergeant.
Bob attended the University of Miami, becoming a member of the Kappa Sigma fraternity, and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration. His passion for technology led him to become a skilled Computer Programmer/Systems Analyst. He dedicated over 40 years to Southeast Bank, and First Union. Bob was an active member of Ascension Lutheran Church serving with the LLL, Men’s Club, and the chancel choir.
Bob was an avid orchid grower and an active member of the South Florida Orchid Society. He maintained a commitment to health and fitness, enjoying workouts at the gym and neighborhood walks. He enjoyed following sports and became a lifelong fan of the UM Hurricanes, Miami Dolphins, and Carolina Panthers.
Bob's legacy of love, dedication, and resilience will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all whose lives he touched.
