Robert John Fritsch

Robert John Fritsch, 78, of Charlotte passed away at Levine Dickson Hospice Southminster on March 24, 2013. He was born on April 25, 1934 in Harrisburg, PA to the late John and Elizabeth Fritsch. Robert graduated from Susquehanna High School in Harrisburg, PA and Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA and was a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity. He taught math at Susquanita High School prior to a 31 year career with IBM as a systems engineer & project manager. Robert was an active member of Living Saviour Lutheran Church where he was a member of the choir, church council and a volunteer on various committees as well as a member of Raintree Country Club where he served on the Board of Directors. Robert is predeceased by his loving wife of 42 years, Shirley Allen Fritsch. He is survived by his three children, Robert Fritsch Jr. (Susan) of Charlotte, Cheryl Ann Fritsch of Endwell, NY and Carrie Beth Kimbrell (David) of Indian Land, SC; grandchildren, Stephanie Fritsch, Andrea (Louis) Smith and Douglas Troyan and great-grandson, Vincent Smith.

The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 on Wednesday March 27 followed by a 2:30 Funeral Service at Living Saviour Lutheran Church, 6817 Carmel Rd., Charlotte, NC 28226. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn East Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be given in Robert’s honor to the Music Fund of Living Saviour Lutheran Church.
