I remember Arthur with fond memories.  He always paid special attention to our girls which always put a smile on my face.   Arthur was so kind and loving.  May God comfort you all.

I am just heart broken that we lost dear Arthur in March. I had many years of singing and praising the Lord with Arthur, Daphne, Robert and of course June at the Baby Grand piano who played like nobody’s business! I love you all so much, and would have been there to add to the big send off! He was such a great Godly Man of God! It won’t be long, in light of Eternity, that C we will be gathered in heavens shore to sing Gods Praises again! No doubt he and Robert are singing around Gods throne in His Most Glorious Presence! Hallelujah, What a mighty God we serve! Love you all! June, I thank you for sharing him with Calvary for so long, as well as your family! What a sweet gentle couple you were and are!! Guy Peters informed my last night in choir practice that Arthur had passed away. He had only received the notice yesterday. I was so shocked that I had to go sit down for a  while. I am so sorry to hear of his passing but rejoice to know that he is with his savior. Arthur was a special friend. He sang beside me in the choir for about 30 years. He prayed for me every day. (I needed it!) He was special to so many people. We will miss him. Mike Caskey 

I'm sad and happy at the same time!  I'm so sad for precious Mrs. Kelly, who has lost the love of her life, but so happy for Mr. Kelly, who is now with Jesus!  We will see him again!  The funeral was an amazing tribute to an amazing man.  I am honored to have known him and so many of his beautiful family.
I want to share with you my favorite story of Mr. Kelly before I knew who he was.
I was in McDonald's with my two kids.  Everything seemed to be going well with our lunch.  As I stood up to throw away our trash and gather the kids and our things, I realized that our  1 1/2 year old, Morgan,  had been dropping her Cheerios over the side of her highchair!  The floor was a mess, as Cheerios were everywhere!  I started quickly trying to clean up the mess, while keeping an eye on the kids.  This sweet man with the kindest smile walked over to me and I quickly started apologizing for the mess.  I asked him if I could borrow a broom to clean up.  He very sweetly informed me that was HIS job, and that was why he was there.  I didn't need to worry about this at all.  I felt terrible about the mess, and tried again to clean up, but he wouldn't have it!  That is true customer service, at its very best.  
Later, I was introduced to Mr. Kelly at church, and I knew immediately where I had met him before!  One doesn't forget such  a sweet spirit or amazing kindness.

I don't know any other way to contact you. I am the one that gave y'all the letter from Arthur when he was age 15 to my grandmother, Celeste Kelly, and the picture of Mildred, even though I didn't know her last name at the time I brought it. Isn't it amazing how God works? I do genealogy and wondered whether we were related because we have the same last name but to my astonishment, we ARE connected but it is through Robert's mother, Mildred CATHEY! And I just found her last name in my Kelly Family Tree in Ancestry, even though it wasn't on the back of the photo I gave June. I already even had Robert's name in my Tree in Ancestry! I can't believe I just figured that out. Sure wish I had known sooner to tell him. I will leave my name and phone number with McEwen in case you want to contact me. I felt so blessed to be able to find y'all and give you those two things and hope we will be able to connect again. Arthur was my 3rd cousin 1x removed.  June, I am sending my love and best wishes as you navigate this new Journey.

Sympathy to you all!  Dale and I loved having Arthur & June as neighbors until they moved to retirement home.  Arthur never met a stranger and because he often worked off his energy in their front yard he frequently engaged walkers in conversation sometimes praying with them.  If I was listening to some good music, sometimes old recordings of Calvary choir or Dan & June playing their hearts out on piano & organ, I would stop sometimes on street and roll down window and he would walk to car to enjoy the sounds!!! We'd say " dosen't get any better" on earth.  Now he's singing in heaven!
