Robert Bob Raymond Trevathan Jr.

A native of Mobile, Alabama, Mr. Trevathan was born to the late Robert Raymond Trevathan and Mildred Louise Poole Trevathan on April 2, 1930. He was a United States Army veteran of the Korean War. Mr. Trevathan was a member of Hickory Grove Baptist Church and the Friendly Sunday School Class. He was a mason and member of Orient Lodge 0395 in Wilmington.

Mr. Trevathan is survived by his wife, Georgia Trevathan of Charlotte; children, Robert Trevathan, III and wife DeAnn of Sanford, Gail Martin and husband Fred of New Bern, Eric Trevathan of Nyborg, Denmark, Darryl Trevathan and wife Angie of Indian Trail, Susan Vickers and husband Don of Pennsylvania; brother, Henry Trevathan of LaPlata, MD; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 8 at the Latin American Campus of Hickory Grove Baptist Church with Rev. John Harrill officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church.
