Ron was a graduate of Wingate University and Appalachian State University. He spent over 20 years in the fire sprinkler business and 15 years in the insurance industry. Ronald was a devoted husband and a loving father and grandfather. A godly man, Ronald loved the Lord with all his heart and his family reaped the rewards of being loved by a man who kept Christ first, for which they are forever grateful.
Ron was preceded in death by his infant son, Matthew Benjamin; his parents, Crawford and Bernice Lane; his brother, Coleman Lane; and his sister, Virginia Colvin.
Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 47 years, Sandra; son, Adam (Amanda) Lane of Lexington, SC; daughter, April (Brandon) Raines of Fleetwood, NC; four grandsons, Aiden, Alex, and Adam "Matthew" Lane, and Tidus Raines; sister, Ruth Turton of Charlotte, NC; brother, Roy (Peggy) of Huntsville, AL; sister, Alberta (Larry) Jutovsky of Whittset, NC; and sister-in-law, Susan Lane of Cumming, GA.
His fun-loving humor and joyful nature will be missed by all.
