

Born December 27, 1924 in Buffalo, NY and raised in St. Louis, MO, he was a son of the late John and Amelia Gabrielson. He married the former Carolyn Erisman on May 6, 1950.
He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, and three children: Ann Gabrielson, Rusty Gabrielson, and Jane Mikol (Edward); his brother, Len Gabrielson; and his sister, Emily Rosenthal.
Co-owner of General Transmission Supplies, Inc., of Lexington, NC, he was an Emeritus Director of Lexington State Bank, Past President of the United Way of Lexington, Past President of the Chamber of Commerce, former Chairman of the Board of Directors of Lexington Memorial Hospital, Secretary-Treasurer of the NC District of Civitan International, an Elder Emeritus of First Presbyterian Church of Lexington, NC, and a 50-year member of Masonic Lodge 696.
There will be a committal service at the columbarium at First Presbyterian Church in Lexington at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 31. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1 at Plantation Estates in Matthews.
The family respectfully requests no flowers. Memorials may be made to the General Fund at First Presbyterian Church of Lexington, NC or to the Samaritan's Fund of Plantation Estates, Matthews, NC.
