Ruth Taylor Hicks passed away at home on April 17, 2023. A native Charlottean, she was born on July 8, 1927. She was predeceased by her husband, A.L. Hicks, Jr., and her daughter, Teresa Gale Hicks. Ruth is survived by her daughter Pamela Hicks Mollert and her husband, David; and her brother Joe Taylor and his wife, Pam.
A celebration of Ruth’s life will be held at 1pm at Hickory Grove United Methodist Church on Thursday, April 27, 2023. Burial will follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
Ruth was a lifelong member of Hickory Grove United Methodist Church. She was a member of the choir and loved all her church friends. Ruth had a wonderful sense of humor and will be remembered fondly for it.
Her family was her greatest love. She was a devoted Mother to her two daughters.
