Shaquetta Ciearra LeAnn Gathers

Born on January 31st 2000, Shaquetta brought joy, laughter, and light into the lives of everyone who knew her. She had a warm spirit, a kind heart, and an ability to make those around her feel truly loved.

Though her time with us was far too short, the impact she made will last forever. She was deeply loved by her family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to cross her path. Her smile could brighten the darkest days, and her love knew no limits.

Shaquetta is survived by her mother Vannette Wilson , her step father Barrick Wilson and biological father Michael Gathers, her siblings Lela Wilson, Zaniqua Taylor/Mallard, Nadia Taylor, Barrick Wilson Jr., Cameron Brett Wilson, Denico Taylor, Akeem Taylor, Orenthial Taylor, and her 9 nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles who will cherish her memory always.

She will be remembered not only for who she was, but for the love she gave so freely. Her absence leaves an ache that cannot be filled, but her memory will live on in our hearts.

A service to honor her life will be held on September 20th 2025 at 11am at the McEwen Funeral Service at Sharon Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to come together to celebrate the beautiful life she lived.

Rest in peace, Shaquetta. You will be forever missed and forever loved.
