Sharon L. Zioncheck

Sharon, 54, of Charlotte, ran into the open of arms of her Heavenly Father on January 25, 2011, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Glen Ridge, NJ, lived in Endicott, NY, Stanford, CT and graduated in 1975 from Kingston High School in New York. She went on to receive a degree from SUNY New Paltz.

Sharon moved to Charlotte from Melbourne, FL in 1986 and had a career in retail sales, at” Food Lion” and with “Home Instead” healthcare. Sharon had an unwavering faith and was a dedicated member of Forest Hill Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roger J. Zioncheck. Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Ardith Brown (Charlotte); sister, Dale Simmons (Charlotte), brother, Dr. Roger (Jennie) Zioncheck (Pittsburgh, PA), Richard (Patricia) Zioncheck (Charlotte), Thomas (Kim) Zioncheck, PhD. (Montara, CA); nieces and nephews, Kaitlin and Cameron Simmons, Maja and Nick Zioncheck, Ashley and Kristen Zioncheck, Drew and Zach Zioncheck.

A celebration of Sharon’s life will be held on Saturday, January 29, 2011 at 2:00pm at Forest Hill Church 7224 Park Road Charlotte, NC 28210. It was Sharon’s request, that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Forest Hill Church’s “So That Campaign” and/or “Homeward Bound” Campaign.
