Susan (Defrese) Milhollin

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Morris Milhollin and her sister Julia DeFrese Gilkeson.

She leaves behind her daughter Julia Milhollin Gibbs ( Reid ), and sons Robert Fielding Milhollin and Charles Arthur Milhollin ( Karen ). She was blessed with 6 grandchildren. Charles Marshall Gibbs (Angela ), Elizabeth Gibbs Mulhearn ( Casey ), Fielding Gibbs Donato ( Angelo ), Daniel Reid Gibbs, Samuel Milhollin and Thomas Milhollin. She also leaves behind 8 precious great grandchildren. Matthew Gibbs, Samantha Gibbs, Hadley Gibbs, Caleb Mulhearn, Kylie Mulhearn, Ella Mulhearn, Julia Donato and Elise Donato.

Susan graduated from Girls High School in Rome, Georgia. She then attended Salem College in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. She was the Parish Secretary at Christ Episcopal Church in Charlotte, North Carolina and worked for several Doctors at Charlotte Eye, Ear Nose and Throat Associates.

A celebration of life will be held Saturday February 25,2023 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel at Daniels Funeral Home In Rome, Georgia.
