Laurie: I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved mother on the 14th. Your mom was 2years younger than my mother who turned 90 this past February. We went to see my mom April 16 - 22nd in Penna. She has COPD and congestive heart failure. but she is doing better. Our prayers go out to you and your family. God bless. I was so sorry to hear about your Mother.  I used to live across the street from her and just heard about her passing.  I loved going over and having a glass of wine and talking with her. I have missed her since I moved about 3 1/2 years ago. My thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I am going to miss seeing Sylvia every Tuesday and Friday at 11 to do her hair. I always enjoyed spending the time with her. She was like a second mom. Even though there was a age difference we had a lot of laughs and a lot in common. She trained me well on how to do her hair. I learned and shared a lot with Sylvia and looked forward to starting and ending my week with such a wonderful person. We love you and will miss you. Our prayers and thoughts are with her family.

I met Sylvia through my sister, Clare Turner.  She was a cherished friend of mine for 20 years.  I will miss her and want to extend my heartfelt condolences 
to you and all her Family.

I knew Sylvia for many years thru her daughter Laurie. She was a wonderful person to know. I will never hear a Southerner say "sugar" without thinking of her saying that to us. My prayers are for her family to all be at peace with her passing. Sylvia keep Rickey out of trouble until I see both of you again.

I had the opportunity to meet Ms. Henderson several times when I worked with her daughter, Laurie Wood.  I have stayed in her home and was made to feel so welcome and comfortable.  I liked Ms. Henderson so very much and think she was truly a unique and special woman.  I recall a poem that I shared with her when her mom passed away.  I will share here with her friends and family because she said that it had brought her peace.  I hope these words can bring peace to all those who mourn her today.  
Do not stand at my grave and weep 
I am not there. I do not sleep. 
I am a thousand winds that blow. 
I am the diamond glints on snow. 
I am the sunlight on ripened grain. 
I am the gentle autumn rain. 
When you awaken in the morning's hush 
I am the swift uplifting rush

To all the family of Sylvia, my prayers are with you during your time of sorrow.  Sylvia and I were close friends for many years, and I have such fond memories of her and our times we spent together.  She was a fantastic friend.

Dearest Sib, You will be missed by so many! You will live on in our memories of fun times at the beach and sand spurs in our feet, collecting shells, bringing home bags and bags of live sand dollars (phew! sorry to the environment - we didn't know better), Pawleys Island and a dog named Dammit, Brookgreen Gardens, playing cards for hours, cute kittens, classic Mustangs all mixed up with unconditional love.
