Thelma Hamilton Harmon

Thelma was born March 9th, 1942 in West Virginia to Arnold Hamilton and Sally Shad Miller.

She worked at the Copal Grill for over 40 years, delighting customers with her genuine hospitality. She was an active member at Calvary Baptist Church.

Thelma always made sure everyone was taken care of and no one ever went hungry. She enjoyed cooking and baking and was well known for her coconut cakes.

Thelma is survived by her children, Jo Anne Shoemake, Patricia Brindle (Mark) and Malcolm Miller; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, brother Dan and sisters, Cora, Kathy & Patsy; sister-in-law Linda Hamilton.

She is preceded in death by her sister, Betty, and brothers, Roger, Jim & Brady.

Visitation will be at Calvary Baptist Church, 10301 Harwood Lane Charlotte, NC 28214, Saturday, March 18th, from 11 am – 1pm with a funeral service immediately following. Interment will be held at Forest Lawn West Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Forest Lawn West Funeral & Cremation Service.
