A native of Cayuga, NY, Mr. Quigley was born to the late Harold Carlton Quigley and Margariette Minit Quigley on April 6, 1927. He was a US Navy veteran of World War II and retired from Duke Power Company. Mr. Quigley was a member of Immanuel Presbyterian Church in China Grove. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Ruth Quigley in 2004.
Mr. Quigley is survived by his son, Larry Quigley and wife Betty of Mount Ulla, NC; grandson, David Quigley of Los Angeles, CA; step-grandchildren, Christine, Edward and Sandra.
The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 4 in the chapel at Wilson Funeral and Cremation Service, 5301 Albemarle Rd., Charlotte. Interment will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials should be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
