Virginia Gravatt Cartlidge, 95, died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Presbyterian Hospital. Born in Trenton, NJ on October 3, 1917, she was a daughter of the late Albert Ward Gravatt and Elizabeth Speck Gravatt. Mrs. Gravatt retired as a registered nurse from Queen's College.
A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM, Wednesday, January 2nd in the Aldersgate Chapel, 3800 Shamrock Drive with Chaplin Karen Moore officiating. Burial will be private.
Mrs. Cartlidge is survived by a son, Al Cartlidge and wife Betty, of Apopka, FL; three grandchildren, Angela Head
and husband Lenny, Kimberly Trainor and husband Brian, Vicki Wickenheiser and husband John, and
six great-grandchildren, Nathan Head, Brandon Head, Isabelle Wickenheiser, Ruby Trainor,
John David Wickenheiser, Brian Ward Trainor and a daughter-in-law, Connie Cartlidge.
Mrs. Cartlidge was preceded in death by her husband, John David Cartlidge, Sr.; a son,
John David Cartlidge, Jr. and a grandson, John David Cartlidge, III.
