Wayne Lester Lowrance passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025, just one day before his 77th birthday. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and a life well lived. For 51 wonderful years, he was the devoted husband and best friend of Wanpen, his partner in every adventure, proving that true love not only endures but deepens with time.
A proud U.S. Air Force Sergeant, Wayne served honorably in Detachment 1, 1985 Communications Squadron, earning the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal (AFM 900-3) in recognition of his dedicated service. While he was proud of his military accomplishments, his greatest pride was always his family.
Wayne is lovingly remembered by his wife Wanpen; his children Georgia, Jason, and Tracy; and his grandchildren Cassidy, Janna, Khamrin, and Kai. He is also remembered by his great-grandchild, Brack. He filled their lives with joy, unwavering support, and the kind of wisdom only a life fully lived can offer.
Known for his mischievous humor, infectious laugh, and deep love of music, Wayne brought light and energy wherever he went. His spirit will echo in every story told, every song played, and every moment of laughter shared in his memory.
In honoring Wayne’s wishes, the family encourages guests to dress casually and wear bright, Hawaiian-style colors—he never liked anything too formal and would have wanted a celebration full of life and color.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who were lucky enough to know him.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Wayne’s memory to the Michael J. Fox Parkinson’s Foundation, in honor of his strength and resilience.
