

William Finneyfrock, 84, of Charlotte passed away at home on January 17, 2011. Born in Baltimore, MD on March 26, 1926, he served in the Army Airforce. After retiring from many years with New Jersey Bell, Bill moved to Charlotte to be closer to his family. He was an avid world-wide traveler and also enjoyed his time as golf coach and substitute teacher at Charlotte Catholic High School. Bill was also a model train enthusiast.
Bill is predeceased by his loving wife, Florence Finneyfrock. He is survived by a daughter, Ann Cutler of Cortland, NY and two sons, William Finneyfrock Jr. and wife Jessie of Charlotte and Richard Finneyfrock and wife Diane of Newtown, PA. He is also survived by his 10 grandchildren, Michael and Bethany Cutler; Heather Collins and husband Ryne, Amber and Will Finneyfrock and Alyssa, Bryan, Julia, Michaela and Sean Finneyfrock. He is also survived by one great-grandchild, Charles Partigianoni.
Visitation will be Wednesday January 19 from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at McEwen Pineville Chapel, 10500 Park Rd., Charlotte, NC 28210. Burial will follow in Laurelton, NJ.
