William Bill Thomas Jones Jr.

Bill was born on November 13, 1953 in Charlotte. He was a faithful, dedicated servant of the Lord. He exhibited hard work and committed 36 years to DVCC.

Bill is survived by his wife, Katherine Jones. Devoted to her for 37 years, she will miss him dearly. He is survived by his three children; Matthew Jones, Benjamin “Ben” Jones and wife April and their two children, Aaron and Hannah, Jennifer J. Unsell and husband Roy and their four children, Austin, Savannah, Tristan and Brayden. Bill is also survived by his mother and father, Shirley and Jerry Bradley; sisters, Vanessa and Karen Bradley.

Dad, we love you so much and will greatly miss you.

Thank you Jesus that your spirit brings such comfort to our hearts. When we are sad, dear Jesus, remind us that all we need to do is open ourselves to you.

Our dad and mom’s true love is absent from this body on Earth but present with the Lord (II Cor. 5:8).

To all that knew him the legacy of Bill Jones will live on and will not be forgotten.

The funeral service will be held 7:00p.m., Friday, December 14 at Charlotte Pentecostal Church, 4929 N. Sharon Amity Rd., Charlotte with Pastor Nathan Elms officiating. The family will receive friends 6:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. Friday evening at the church. Interment will be held 11:00a.m., Saturday, December 15 in Gethsemane Memorial Gardens.
