

William Michael (Bill) Kendall, 67, of Charlotte, North Carolina passed away on February 27, 2013 at CMC-Pineville. He was born on July 10, 1945, in Chicago, Illinois to the late George Robert Kendall and Eileen Kendall.
Mr. Kendall graduated from Glenbrook North High School in Northbrook, Illinois and Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, Illinois. He proudly served in the United States Air Force. Bill was involved in Industrial Chemical Sales and Management for over forty years and built lasting relationships with customers and his peers. He and his wife Judy have been residents of Charlotte since 1989.
An avid golfer, Bill enjoyed every opportunity to play. He enjoyed special times with family and good friends and loved to travel. A highlight in his life was a recent golf trip to Ireland where he and his friends enjoyed several days on several different courses. Over the years, Bill enjoyed the fellowship of many friends in both Florida and North Carolina. His love of life and laughter and his ever present smile will be fondly remembered by family, friends and colleagues.
Bill is survived by Judy Kendall, his devoted wife of 44 years and his loving son, Shannon Kendall; siblings, Judith Sonju, Gregg Kendall and wife Susan, Nancy Ward and husband Gregg; nephews, Richard Lewis, Scott Ward (Shannon), Max Kendall and Jack Kendall; nieces, Lynn Lewis, Ashley Ward Kirkendall (Kent), Dana Kendall; and two great-nieces, Mallory and Jillian Kirkendall. He is also survived by sister-in-law, Donna Morinec, her husband John and their son, Mitchell.
The family would like to express their appreciation for the loving care given by doctors and nurses in the IC Unit at CMC- Pineville.
A service to celebrate the life of Mr. Kendall will be held at 1 pm on Monday, March 4, 2013 in the Chapel of Harry and Bryant, 500 Providence Road, Charlotte. The family will receive guests at a reception after the service.
