Allen Dale Lohr

Allen was born on December 21, 1960, in Charlottesville, Virginia, to Willis “Bill” Anderson and Pearl Ida Lohr. Allen was a self-employed painter that got his passion for painting from his father Bill Lohr. In his spare time Allen loved four wheeling, motorcycles, and fishing. Allen loved spending time with family and friends, and caring for his feline babies Roscoe and Cletus whom Allen loved dearly.

Allen was preceded in death by his father Willis “Bill” Lohr, grandparents Jesse and Novie Lohr and Shirley and Virgie Fewell and by numerous Aunts and Uncles.

Allen is survived by his sisters Jessica Lohr and Rebecca Sheckler (Jesse), his brothers Andy Lohr (Carla), Mark Lohr (Erin), his nieces Amber Rivera (George), Melissa Shifflett (Brian), Ashley Sheckler, Makenna, and Morgan Lohr, his nephews Ashton, Jacob, Brody, and Maddox Lohr, a great niece Caydence Shifflett, Great nephews Dakota Lohr, Isaac and Ivan Rivera, and Brayen Shifflett and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Two great loving and caring friends Jeff and Owen Howe.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday July 10, 2021, at 2pm at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville, Va. A celebration of life will be held directly after at the home of Erin Cason, 2004 Aspen Drive, Charlottesville, Va 22911. All family and friends are welcomed to attend and a covered dish would be greatly appreciated.
