Billy Lebron Alford, 72, of Scottsville passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020 at his residence. He was born in Ringgold, GA January 28, 1948 to the late Fred Preston Alford and the late Frances Evelyn Templeton Alford.
“Billy” served his country proudly in the U.S. Marines. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam.
Billy is preceded in death by his wife Edna Alford and one brother Jack D. Alford, Sr. and one step son Vernon Lawhorn.
Billy is survived by his stepchildren; Neil, Rodney and Alfred Lawhorn, a Brother Joey Alford (Janet), Sister Kathy Bryson (Marshall) and the best friend and “brother from another mother” Dale Estes, he was always there for Bill no matter what. We as a family are so very thankful for him.
A graveside Funeral service will be held 1pm on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Culpeper National Cemetery, 305 U. S. Ave, Culpeper, VA with Military Honors provided by the Culpeper VFW Post 2524.
