Charles was truly a simple man of strength, integrity, and endless devotion to the ones he loved. He was a kind and gentle man. To know him was to love him. Most knew him as "Papa's" a special name given to him by his granddaughter Amy.
Papa's legacy lives on not only by the hearts he helped shape, but by the lives he's so deeply touched. He opened his heart and his home to so many of us. The love he shared is how he will be remembered.
He taught us life's most valuable lessons - to work hard, love fully, and live with integrity. We will carry that wisdom in our hearts forever.
We lost the very best! We miss all of the silly moments, the fun jokes, and the laughter. We will never forget all the love he shared or how he had to walk to school, uphill both ways.
- We love and miss you Papas -
