Clinton was born and raised in Nelson County, Virginia. After high school, he enlisted in the United States Navy where he served with valor and distinction throughout the World War II campaign. Following his honorable discharge, he returned home and married the love of his life. He went on to become a Master Craftsman and carpenter.
Clinton leaves behind loving children, adorable grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years and a granddaughter. Clinton will always be remembered for his positive attitude, his love for family, friends, and his Christian faith.
A graveside service will be held at Monticello Memory Gardens Monday, April 17, 2023 at 11:00 with Pastor Greg Anderson officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to either Belmont Baptist Church or Hospice of the Piedmont.
