Cornelius Jackson Furr Sr., age 63, died on August 17, 2015 in Charlottesville Va. He is survived by his brother Lawrence Richard Furr. He is preceded in death by his brother Marshall Furr Jr. Cornelius was born on June 5, 1952 in Winchester Va., to Marshall Furr and Frances Wiley. He completed 2 years of college and was currently enrolled at P.V.C.C. He worked for many years as an engineer. Cornelius became deeply involved in Albemarle Baptist Church starting in 2009 up until his death. A memorial service will be held on August 30th beginning at 11 am at Albemarle Baptist Church with a reception following in the Church. Pastor Marcus Deloach will officiate.
