David Thomas Morris, 66, of Crozet, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016. He was born on February 21, 1950, to the late Cecil and Lyvonna Thacker Morris. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Diane Bloxham. He is survived by his wife, Betty North; his daughter, Stephanie Nagel; his stepson, Ronald North Jr.; four sisters, Dreama Walker, Gaynelle Payne, Elizabeth Morris, and Starr Morris; two brothers, Irvin and Keith Morris; his special niece, Denise Watson; and many other nieces, nephews, friends and extended family. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 9, 2016, at Teague Funeral Home from 6 until 8 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted on Monday, October 10, 2016, at Hebron Baptist Church, 66 Tanbark Drive, Afton, Va. at 2 p.m., officiated by Pastor Billy Coffey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greene County Rescue Squad or Western Albemarle Rescue Squad.
