Dwayne Avis Jessee

Dwayne Avis Jessee, 46, of Crozet passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016 with his family by his side after an extended illness. Born October 18, 1969 he was a son of the late Clifford Alan and Ann Via Jessee. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his brother Darrell Jessee and an infant son, Isaiah. Dwayne is survived by his devoted wife of 28 years Pamela Jessee; his sons, Kaleb, Benjamin, and Elijah Jessee; his sisters, Darlene Jones and her husband Blake and Dana Layne and her husband Davy; his supportive in-laws, Claude and Carolyn Monger; brother-in-law, Eddie Monger; and sister-in-law, Melanie Ellyson and her husband Wayne. Dwayne is also survived by numerous family and friends that will sorely miss him. Dwayne worked for W.E. Brown for many years as an electrician until his health denied him the ability to work. He was a member of Free Union Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. Dwayne was a man that loved his family. He enjoyed camping, trips to the beach, and working on his jeep. A funeral service will be conducted 1:00 pm Wednesday, March 23, 2016 at Free Union Baptist Church with Pastor Duane Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Teague Funeral Home.
