Nécrologie de Emil "Frank" Paschall
It is with broken hearts that a very special dad, papa and husband, Emil Frank Paschall, once known as the CocaCola Cowboy, left this world, May 20, 2022 for a bigger and better one. Dad was born in Albemarle County on April 30, 1944 to the late Norman and Jacqueline Drucilla Paschall. Dad was preceded in death by one son Baby Paschall, his brothers Gene Martin, Zeke, Eddie, Tommy and Paul Paschall, his sisters Francis Holsapple, Gracie Roth, MaryLee Kelley. As well as Mom’s family who he looked at as family, Hubert, Dora and Lorene Shifflett, Malcolm Lamb, Peachie Jeffries, and Willie and Ruth Lamb. Dad is survived by his brothers Royal Lee Paschall, Jimmy Paschall and Linda, Roger Willoughby and Barbara and his sister Lucille Bolner. Dad is also survived by Mom’s family who was his family, James Lamb, Betty, Bernard and Dorsey Shifflett, Peggy Sanders and Paul. Our Dad leaves behind our Mom, Mary Paschall, to him she was his rock and he loved her dearly. Dad and Mom lived on King Street where they raised us and moved to Barboursville 25 years ago. Dad loved the country life and his yard especially watching the deer in his yard and just recently he watched baby foxes grow up. All of us children Carlton Huff (Yogie) and Patricia, Kenny Paschall and Hillary, Missy Mills and Gregg, Jackie Smith-Shipp and Joe are left with broken hearts. His grandchildren, Carlton Huff, Jr. (Boo), Timmy Huff, Chelsi Breeden (Dad helped raise this one as his own, she was the apple of his eye) and Adam, Alyssia Mills and JJ Brinson, KayLee Shipp, Kendra, Cameron Townsend, Chase and Jacob Paschall. His great grandchildren, Hunter and Pete Huff and new one Shelby Alice who he called “The Girl.” Dad also is survived by many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly. Our dad had too many friends to mention as he considered all, as he would tell us and Momma, “that is one of my good friends.” Our dad worked for Coke for many years that is why Dad’s mustang became the CocaCola Cowboy. Dad also was known to look like a monkey up in a tree because he didn’t mind swinging from limb to limb as he cut down so many. Anyone who knew him knew he was a FORD man all the way. He loved his mustangs and racing. Summertime weekends were spent at Eastside Speedway where he won many trophies. Our dad will be missed tremendously. Even though Momma wore the pants in the family, dad was always there when you needed him. Heaven received a hardworking, friendly, give the shirt off his back person today. We LOVE you Dad. We will receive friends from 6:00pm – 8:00pm on Monday, May 23, 2022 at Teague Funeral Home, 2260 Ivy Rd. Charlottesville, VA 22903. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 in the Chapel at Teague Funeral Home. With interment to immediately follow at Holly Memorial Gardens, 3521 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville VA 22911. After the interment, we welcome everyone to rejoice Dad’s life with us at our family home. Please contact the funeral home for the address. Please do not dress up as Dad would want to see you in a Ford and yes, Chevrolet Shirt.
