Ethel is the daughter of the late Gentry F. Ray and Alma Louise Ray. She is survived by her beloved son John Michael (Mike) who filled her days with joy and happiness.
She is preceded in death by brothers Dolly Ray, Russell Ray, Tommy Ray, and Paul Ray, as well as sisters Emily Nelson, and Beulah Gallihugh.
The service at Graveside will be at Mooreland Baptist church in North Garden at 11 am on Friday May 9.
The family will receive friends and loved ones after the service for fellowship and lunch in the church dining room.
