Evelyn Vander Williams

Evelyn Vander Williams, 91, of Palmyra, passed away on November 29, 2019 after a brief illness. Evelyn was born on November 7, 1928, in Brooklyn, New York, to the late John and Josephine Kampel Vander. She spent her working life as a Registered Nurse in NY, employed as a school nurse-teacher in the Lakeland School District, and later as a Psychiatric Nurse for the Veterans Administration in Montrose, NY. In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Rasky. Evelyn is survived by her son, Matthew Williams, of Highland Falls, NY; her daughter and son-in-law Bonnie and William “Skip” Davis of Palmyra, VA; her sister Constance Vander of Center Harbor, NH; and her niece Deena Rasky of Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
