Everett Wayne Breeden, 79, of Charlottesville, died Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the Hospice House. Born October 10, 1935 in Albemarle County, he was the son of the late Fred Everette and Irma Wood Breeden. Mr. Breeden was a long time employee of the City of Charlottesville and later was a supervisor with the Ivy Landfill. He was a member of the Virginia National Guard for 8 ½ years. He attended City Church on Rio Road. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Frederica G. Breeden; a daughter, Tanya D. Breeden; two sisters, Nancy L. Breeden and Lucille Breeden Wood and her husband Bill; one brother, Fred Everette Breeden, Jr. and his wife Corrie; and several nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, December 27, 2014 at the Teague Chapel with Pastor Pete Hartwig officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends the hour prior to the service at Teague Funeral Home.
