Giovanni Finazzo

Giovanni Finazzo, 67, of Earlysville passed away peacefully March 19th at his home surrounded by loved ones. He is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Paula Ulrope Finazzo, their 3 daughters Christina, Elizabeth, Amanda; 5 grandchildren Giovanna, Sophia, Braxton, Lilyana and Dean, and his three siblings Sarina, Carlo, Giuseppe and their families. Jerry was a special person to all the people he met. He had an infectious personality, and impacted many peoples' lives in multiple ways. Any individual that knew him would agree that he was one of a kind. He opened his heart to Crozet and was very happy to have made so many wonderful friends in doing so. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, March 22nd at Teague Funeral Home. The service will be officiated by Rev. David Collier of the Crozet Baptist Church. The Charlottesville Fire Department and Crozet Volunteer Fire Department will be acknowledging Jerry for his service to the community as an honorary member. Teague Funeral Home will open its doors 2 hours prior to the service for visitation.
