

She was born at the Martha Jefferson Hospital on October 24, 1927, the daughter of the late Lyman and Elizabeth Morris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon H. Cook; and brothers, William “Pete” and Charles “Man” Morris.
She is survived by her sister, Agnes Garver; and brother, Lyman Morris and his wife, Shirley. She is also survived by her children, Mike Cook, Beth Weddle, and Ron Cook and his wife, Kim; granddaughters, Cristi Raymond and her husband, Steve, Sarah Morris and her husband, Steven, Aja Mullinex and her partner, Justin, and Elizabeth Cook her partner, Robert; great-grandchildren, Kelsey Payne, Emerson Raymond, Tyler Mullinex, Jake Raymond, Makenzie Gerlach, Benjamin Morris, Joshua Morris, Molly Morris, and RJ Martin, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Glennis was an active member of Ivy Creek United Methodist Church for 82 years. Many in Charlottesville would know her by her sweet smile as she greeted you at Miller & Rhoads and Stone & Thomas.
Family night will be held from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at Teague Funeral Home in Charlottesville. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at Ivy Creek United Methodist Church, 674 Woodlands Road, Charlottesville, with the Pastor Ed Riggs officiating. Interment at Holly Memorial Gardens.
