

He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert H. Ross; his mother, Marguerite R. Bennett; his sister, Grace J. Ross, and the mother of his children, Carolyn R. Ross. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Dwiggins and Kimberly Ross and her husband David Bergman; grandchildren Eric, James, and Anna, and his life partner, Susan “Pepper” Morris.
Pete was born on January 22, 1944 in Upper Darby, Pennsylvania. He graduated from George Wythe High School in Richmond, Virginia and joined the Army. He received a bachelor’s degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Pete retired from a district manager position with Mark’s Plumbing Parts. He had a loyal customer base and developed connections with his patrons. Pete enjoyed spending time with his family, playing golf, sailing, and vacationing at the beach.
Pete was well-liked and will be remembered for his warm heart, gracious smile, witty sense of humor, resilience, and determination. He will be deeply missed by all those who loved him.
