On Tuesday April 14th 2020, Maria (Hessie) Louise Morris, born September 16 1967 aged 52, of Albemarle county, went to be with the Lord. She was preceded in death by her mother, Doris Louise Vernon and her father George Edgar Morris. She leaves to cherish her memory, her significant other and partner of 28 years Benjamin Kimball, her two daughters; Cecilia "C.J." Morris, and Denice "Nese" Morris. Her two brothers; James "Tommy" Morris and his wife Wanda Morris, George Morris and his wife Tonya Norford. She was a grandmother to five grandchildren; Samuel Wells Jr., Jacob Morris, Brook Wells, Kaylee Wells, and Isaac Wells. She also had two great grandchildren; Shyann Benson and Evelynn Wells, and a number of nieces and nephews. Very close friends of hers include: Justin Dillion, Elizabeth Swaney, Benita Wells, Samuel John Wells Sr. and Bonnie Abel. Maria was a very strong woman who will be missed by all. The gathering will be held later on after everybody is able to get together to share memories of her life.
