She was born on September 18, 1937 in Los Angeles, California, and was a long time resident of Mobile, Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Hoyt Lee Richardson and Elodie Mitchell Richardson. She is survived by a brother Charles Richardson (Pamela), a niece and two nephews, all of Charlottesville. She is also survived by numerous cousins living from Florida to California.
