Maxine Mundy Pleasants

She was a dedicated mother and grandmother, as well as a consummate career-woman who was an administrative secretary at both UVA and MJH for over 30 years, as well as a business owner of The Horseman’s Saddlery.

She is survived by her sons, Kenneth Jr. and Gary Pleasants and wife, Lori, of Crozet; her grandchildren, Bradley Pleasants and wife, Ashley, of Charlottesville, Jake Pleasants and spouse, Anthony Armato, of Charlottesville, Lauren Sacre and husband, Bryan, of Ivy, and Christi Burns; her great-grandchildren, Zach, Elly, Gloria, and Riley; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Family night will be held at Teague Funeral Home in Charlottesville on Tuesday, May 1, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, May 2, at 2 p.m., also at Teague Funeral Home, followed by a graveside service at Mooreland Cemetery in North Garden.
