Pauline Wells Cox

Pauline Wells Cox, 91, of Charlottesville went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 16, 2020. Pauline was born on April 21, 1929 in Albemarle County Virginia to the late Fannie Mae Allison Wells and Thomas L. Wells.

She was preceded in death by her husband, George F. Cox and her siblings; brothers, John Calvin Wells, Robert D. Wells, Hunter S. Wells, Oliver Wells, Clarence Wells; sister, Gloria M. Stover and sister-in-law, Goldie Wells.

She retired from Safeway as floral manager in 1993 after thirty years of service and she was a charter member of Broadus Memorial Baptist Church.

She is survived by her son, Gary W. Cox (Karen Cox) wife, four grandchildren, George W. Cox (Dawn Cox) wife, Cody W. Cox, Carlee R. Cox, Patrick Warner; two great grandchildren, Joshua and Hailey Cox, three nephews; Charles E Wells of Staunton, Steve and Kevin Wells of Charlottesville; three nieces Sharon Craig of Grotoes, Cheryl Gidius of Staunton, Kim Bunch of Charlottesville, nephew Thomas Wells of Richmond and little Jim and Danny great nephew of Charlottesville Virginia.

Graveside funeral service will be held at 1pm on Monday, December 21, 2020 at Holly Memorial Gardens, 3251 Seminole Trail, Charlottesville, Virginia 22911 with Minister Charles Eddie Wells, her Nephew officiating.
