Robert Dale Morefield, 56, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2015, with his family by his side in Charlottesville, VA. Bobby was born September 18, 1958 in Roanoke, VA and currently resided in Covington, VA. He grew up in the Port Norfolk area of Portsmouth where he attended Woodrow Wilson High School and later relocated to the mountains of VA where he enjoyed the slower pace of life. He was a Master Electrician and was a lifelong member of IBEW local 80. He always enjoyed golf, crossword puzzles and the beach. He believed in a hard days work for an honest mans living. He is survived by his loving partner, Deneen Haynes and her son Dalton; his daughter and her husband, Kelly and Jason Sawyer; two grandchildren, Ethan Lee and his brother due to be born in July; three sisters, Linda Kay Mercer, Charlotte Faulkner and husband, Danny, Pamela Smithson and husband Jay; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Memorial services will be held at a later date in the spring.
