Sharon E Hutchinson

Sharon is survived by her son Sean Weakley and his wife Asia of Crozet; her grandchildren Calin, Camrin, Jasmine, Mason and Gavin Weakley and Michael and Sydney Meadows; and her brothers Ron Hutchinson and his wife Marcia and Greg Hutchinson and his wife Joyce. Additional survivors include her nephew Chad Hutchinson and her nieces Melissa Wall and April Douglas.

Born and raised in Charlottesville, Sharon attended local public schools and was a 1965 graduate of Lane High School. During her career she was employed by a number of government agencies and retired in 2012 from the University of Virginia Law School as a faculty assistant.

Sharon had a genuine zest for life. She enjoyed country music and karaoke and liked nothing better than having a good time with her many friends – a friend of Sharon was a friend for life. She will be remembered by her family and friends as an independent woman who worked hard all of her life and as a mother and grandmother who loved her son and grandkids with all of her generous heart. In the face of personal challenges and health adversities she always exhibited grace, strength and great courage.

Rest in peace sweet “blooeyed gal”.

The family will receive friends from 4 to 5 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at the Teague Funeral Home. A memorial service will be conducted at a later date.
