Thomas Lee Strawn

Thomas Lee Strawn, 58, of Keswick, Virginia died unexpectedly on September 9, 2016 of a cardiac arrhythmia. He was born on November 22, 1957 in Waynesburg, PA, the son of the late Edward Strawn and Flossie Rogers Strawn. Thomas graduated from Waynesburg High School and attended California University of Pennsylvania. He was a member of the United States Army from March 1977 to March 1980 and served in Germany. He was an HVAC contractor and owned Strawn Heating and Air in Charlottesville, VA. He is survived by his former wife, Sylvia New Strawn of Charlottesville, VA; brother, Edgar Strawn and his wife Mary V. Clark of Industry, PA; sister, Susan Foote and her husband Warren of Salem, OR; many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sisters, Dorothy J. O’Neill and Ethel Mayle. A visitation will be held Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 12-1:30 p.m. at Owen-Neely Funeral Home in Blacksville, WV with a memorial service at 1:30 p.m. A military burial will be held at Blacksville Cemetery.
