William G. Pender

Bill was born in Charleroi, Pennsylvania on August 14, 1934, to the late William Edward and Semone Marie Pender.

Bill was a dedicated employee of the Federal Government for over 30 years. He had long since retired and was enjoying life with his family and friends. He had a quick wit and a big smile for everyone he met. He was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge 389 here in Charlottesville, and proudly served in the U.S. Armed forces.

He will be greatly missed.

Bill leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 60 years, Jane Pender; their son, Jim and his wife Kathleen. Also, a brother, Donald Pender, along with many nieces and nephews.

There will be a graveside service at 3 pm on Thursday April 13, 2023, at Holly Memorial Gardens, 3521 Seminole Trail. Charlottesville, VA 22911.
