Barbara J. Earnshaw

Barbara was born on December 18th,1935 to Francis T. and Caroline (Vose) Knapton in Lawrence, Massachusetts. She graduated from Lawrence High School in 1952, married Donald G. Earnshaw at Grace Church in Lawrence on October 5th, 1957, and was an active member of the community of Andover, Massachusetts for many years. She was the sister of Carol Moore (Concord, NH) and of the late William Knapton (Marion, MA) and Jean Hughes (Andover, MA).

Barbara is survived by her daughter Susan Wescott and her son William Earnshaw and his wife Magan (Kelly). Her grandchildren include Cameron Wescott and wife Bri, Hannah Wescott and husband Colin Montgomery, Luke Wescott, Nathaniel Earnshaw, Jacob Earnshaw and wife Amanda Moore, Eleanor Earnshaw and fiancé Jack Sullivan, Caroline Earnshaw, Zachary Earnshaw and great granddaughter, Charlie Wescott (daughter of Cameron and Bri).

Barbara was a tireless volunteer and advocate for The Parish of Christ Church in Andover for over 20 years – serving on the Altar Guild, in the Church Office and at the Andover Thrift Shop. She raised Susan and William to also serve the church as members of the Christ Church Choir and as Church Acolytes. She was a tremendous fan of her children and grandchildren and of all sports. She lived her years in Massachusetts, Germany, Virginia and Colorado.
