Alyssa Raven Nye, was my first friend in flowers crossing. I remember her knocking on my door asking if I could come outside and play. I was so nervous and she made sure I was protected and comfortable. From playing manhunt to ding dong ditching or building a puzzle together, she always made every moment so much more beautiful and pure. She was like a big sister to me, who always made sure I stayed on the straight narrow. I am so heartbroken she is gone. She will always have a special place in my heart. May you rest in peace Alyssa Raven Nye, I love you and your family so much.

I’m so heartbroken to hear about the loss of Alyssa. Growing up with her gave me some of the best memories I’ll always cherish. Whether it was collecting tennis balls outside the courts, playing on the playground long after we should’ve outgrown it, or crawling through pipes in the creek or going through the woods to find that “witches circle,” she always managed to find adventure and fun.

She was like a true sister to me—she could pick on me all she wanted, but you best believe she’d stand up for me in a heartbeat if anyone else did. She pushed me out of my shell and helped me gain confidence when I was shy and unsure. I’ll never forget how she insisted on having sleepovers in the same room, even when I wasn’t feeling social. 

We spent so many hours together, whether it was playing Sims on her friend’s account, with her teaching me the “motherlode” cheat code, and the endless hours of video games I would watch her play, knowing she would let me play in just “one more round”. Or, just hanging out with her and her friends like Alissa, Lindsey, Kim, and everyone else. I was always tagging along, and they made me feel like I was one of them. I’ll always remember those afternoons spent jumping on the neighbor’s trampoline, and the nights playing Hunter, and catching fireflies. We even made a pact to learn how to speak Elvish together- of course fighting every step of the way. 

And of course, all of the time with her family- Bill and Kat became a second family to me. We did science experiments, learned about animals and plants, went camping, and just explored nature. The 4th of July fireworks will always be an amazing memory.

Even though time and life took us in different directions, I’ll always love and miss her. She gave me a friendship that felt like family, and I’m so grateful for all the years we had together. Rest in peace, you’ll always have a place in my heart 🦋

We are deeply heartbroken to hear of Alyssa’s passing. A bright and beautiful soul taken far too soon, she brought light to those who knew her. Our thoughts and prayers are with you during this unimaginable time. May you find comfort in the memories of her laughter and love.

Alyssa was the sweetest person. She had this way of loving deeply for the ones she had around her. Her smile could light up a room and her hugs were as warm as a campfire. She was an old soul, and found unique ways to show how she cared for people. Her love was unconditional. She was the most beautiful person I've ever known. Her impact on my life will never be forgotten. I cherish the time we spent together, our conversations, travels, and love we shared. Those memories mean the world to me. She gave me an opportunity to experience what true love is. I will forever be grateful to Alyssa and her wonderful family. I love you so much, and miss you. Please watch over all of us until we see eachother again ❤️

My sweet cousin Alyssa will never be forgotten.   She was more like a little sister to me.   We shared many great times enjoying the great outdoors.  I miss you already.

Alyssa is/was my childhood best friend, and the whole Nye family was a second family to me. I have one too many good memories with her to list out. We for sure loved to confuse people with our names, and she may have gone by Raven when I was around haha. She made me laugh non stop and helped me grow my confidence in such a huge way. She was always in my corner to back me up. And the whole Nye family literally saved my life while camping. I will always love and miss Alyssa a lot. My condolences to the Nye family. Lots of love and prayers.

Alyssa is\ was the sweetest neighbor girl. When she was young she and the other Alyssas (there were several, all lived next door to each other) would come and knock on my door and ask to play with my doxie Max! They would play in the yard and all had the best time. She was a lovely young lady with a beautiful spirit. The world won’t be as bright without her.
