Bob Fannin

Bob was born on March 4, 1936 in Catlettsburg, Kentucky to Olive Cyrus and John B. Fannin. Bob worked at the General Motors V-8 engine plant in Flint, Michigan for 36 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Joseph D. Fannin and sisters Feba Oberle and Opal Sexton.

He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Therese A. Fannin, also of Ringgold, Georgia, his children, Debbie Kaiser, Vickie Lukacs of Canton Georgia, Raymond Fannin of Flushing, Michigan, Kari Heyworth of Chattanooga, Tennessee, his sisters Sue Dodson, of Louisville Kentucky and Belva Horsley of Flatwoods Kentucky, eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday in the East Brainerd Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Dr. Steve Euler officiating. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens in Hixson, Tennessee.

The family will receive friends from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 p.m., Saturday and 12 – 2 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Grace Baptist Academy, 7815 Shallowford Road, Chattanooga, Tennessee 37421.
