Very sorry for your loss, I had Ms. Miller for 6th grade and she was a great teacher! 
Ironically I'm teaching a Sunday School class in here old classroom.

I am deeply saddened to hear that the absolute BEST teacher in the world, Mrs Miller, is no longer physically with us!!!!! Over the years, I have often (daily) wished that she had taught ALL people in this world English!! 😬
I have very fond memories of getting to school early and seeing her pull up to the 6th grade building, with Jeff asleep in the car. Another wonderful memory I have is her teaching us how to make macrame plant holders. That was soooo much fun!!! My condolences to Larry and Brian and may the Holy Spirit comfort you during this difficult and sad time.

I’m so sorry for your loss. I was one of mrs. millers students. She was really tough on me but I remember her always saying that the hard work you do now will be useful in the future. Having her as a teacher was both challenging at times but an incredible joy at others. She was by far one of my favorite teachers. She was realistic and tough both as a teacher and as a person. I admired her incredible fire and no bs attitude. She was also really funny the amount of times I laughed in her classes is innumerable. She’s the one who taught me the value of effect hard work and not wasting your efforts. She was An incredible person and an even more incredible teacher. I look back on those times in her class fondly and am grateful to have had her  as a teacher. I’m saddened to hear of her passing. I wish I had gotten the opportunity to thank her for being so hard on me. I may not be the person I want to be yet, but I’ve only gotten as far as I have because of the words and encouragement of the people in my life, this includes Mrs. Miller. I’m sure that if she was reading this right now she would probably get mad at me for my poor grammar and writing skills. Constantly critiquing all my mistakes as she did when I was in school. While I may not have taken her teachings on English class with me throughout the years, it’s her teachings about life that I’ve carried with me for the past decade. She’ll always be remembered by her students, coworkers, family, and friends. Thank you for all the lessons Mrs. Miller and Rest In Peace.

I would like to offer my sincere and heartfelt condolences to the miller family. I know she suffered near the end and may you all find peace in nothing she suffers no more. 
      She was a great teacher and in later years offered friendship and support and allowed me to see Jeff just days before his passing. I will never forget the life lessons I learned from her. God bless and peace to all.

I’m so sorry to hear the news of Carole’s passing. I worked with Carole at OLPH in the early to mid-nineties. She was a gifted teacher who truly loved her students and loved teaching. I’m glad to have had her as a colleague.  We shared our love of St. Louis, her hometown and mine via work moves. Always remember the impact she had on so many lives. What a profound legacy.

Larry, I am so sorry to hear of Carole’s passing. She was a wonderful person and gifted teacher. Her passion for education was empowering for my daughter, Colleen, to pursue her own interests, which included being a teacher too. Carole will be missed, but what a wonderful gift of learning she gave to so many students. For that she will always be remembered. Godspeed Carole, and peace to you and your family.

She encouraged without being pushy and celebrated her student’s accomplishments no matter how small.
