He was employed as a Master Plumber.
Charles enjoyed helping people, going to church, and absolutely loved playing the guitar.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Judy; granddaughter, Constance; parents, Lodel Dunnington and Clarence Dunnington; and brother, Randy Dunnington.
Those Charles leaves behind to cherish his memory include his son, Cheth Dunnington; daughter, Jill Crowder; stepson, Johnny Davis; grandson, Nick Dunnington; granddaughters, Josie Crowder, Meagan Crowder; many other grandchildren and great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Advantage Funeral & Cremation Services - Franklin Strickland Chapel, located at 1724 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, TN, 37404, US. The service is scheduled for Thursday, December 18, 2025, starting at 3:00 pm.
And as Charles would always say, "Chicken Butt!"
