Steven "Dale" Copeland, 59 of Chattanooga passed away Sunday May 22, 2016. Dale was a lifelong resident of Chattanooga.
Dale grew up and attended Highland Park Baptist Church for most of his early life. He graduated from Tyner High School in 1974 and was self-employed as a landlord, maintenance man, and a fixer of almost anything. He enjoyed taking his boat out on the lake, riding motorcycles, playing pool, gardening, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Susanne.
He is survived by his daughter, Susanne (Greg) Phillips, brother, Rodger (Marilyn) Copeland, sister, Debbie (Don) Maddox, mother, Barbara (Bud) Rhodes, step-mother, Pat Copeland, nephew, Brandon (Meredith) Maddox, and numerous other family and friends.
A celebration of life is planned for Tuesday, June 21st at Lookout Valley Baptist Church on 23 Lilac Ave Chattanooga, TN for friends and family. Visitation will be at 6pm with a memorial at 7pm.
